1993 Ricker 48 Sport Fish
Estimated price for orientation: 89 500 $
Category: Offshore Saltwater Fishing
Class:
Description Year: 0000
This is a really good project for someone...It is a steel Bruce Roberts Spray. I do not know how long ago it was built but it has never been finished or been in the water. As you can see from the pictures it is a bit green but apart from a couple of very small areas of surface rust it is virtually rust free. This means it was well built and properly protected with a decent paint product to be in this condition. It is about 30ft long not including the bowsprit; it is about 10ft beam and draws about 4ft. It has a mast but no sails; it has a rudder; it has a properly marinised Ford diesel engine with Hurth gearbox, Bowman heat exchanger etc. It has sterngear and a propeller and is fitted with a GKN Aquadrive universal joint system. It has a self draining cockpit, but is not fitted out below. I dare say with a bit of work to the engine it could be motored away from our yard.Good basis for someone who wants a blue water yacht, has skills but not blue water yacht money.I am selling for a friend, the start price is dirt cheap - the engine would fetch this - but it has to go. It can be loaded to your transport or launched by the boatyard where it is or if you are local you can keep it in the yard. Yard rates are reasonable.Cash on collection only; no reserve auction so a bid will buy it; please before you bid make sure you are in a position to complete the transaction and either remove the boat or arrange with the boatyard to stay where it is within 7 days of auction end.I sincerely suggest you come and have a look at this before bidding to ensure it is what you are expecting, please feel free to ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them.
