This pre 1954 16 ft. Wooden lapstrake boat was manufactured by the allen boat co. in alogonac, mi. Jack allen worked for lyman prior to coming to alognac, than chris craft and then his own boat comapany The boat does resemble a classic lymann. It is in excellent condition, motor has been serviced but boat has not been in water for several years now.The 35 hp. motor was built in 1958.The Hull is white oak, the rub rails are white oak. The Hull interior is petit marine blue ice paint. The deck is mahogany and the filler is red mahogany. The seats and supports are made from redwood with no filler.
