Quintrex 430 Estuary Angler.This boat was made in Australia and was originally imported into the UK by a dealership in South Wales.The 430 is no longer available in the UK. It is possible to buy the 420 model. The 430 is only a bit longer, but has a wider beam and higher gunwales. It feels bigger than it is.This model features the 'Millennium Blade' hull shape which has a very high v-shaped bow and an easy planing hull.This boat and engine and trailer were bought new as a package in 2008. I am the second owner. I bought it from an old chap who only used it three times before his hip gave out. I have used it very occasionally in and around Chichester Harbour. I would say that if the engine has had more than 40hrs run time, I would be very surprised.The boat is superbly built, with all welded joints and it is very well finished.It is in superb condition. There are no dents or scrapes at all. There is buoyancy built-in under the seats. There is plenty of room to sit three people across each seat and plenty of deck space.The high bow and wind screen make for a very dry ride. The wind screen opens out to allow access to the bow roller.There is a high quality auxiliary outboard bracket mounted on the transom.There is a boarding step on the transom.It has a Garmin fish finder.The boat is fairly light and is easy to launch and retrieve and handles very well on the water.Comes with anchor, warp and chain.Fitted with four rod holders.The engine is a 40hp Tohatsu Direct Injection model. It has electric start and power tilt and trim. This is a fantastic engine. It starts on the button and runs quietly and smoothly and is very economical. Pumps plenty of water and engages gears quietly. Is is very economical and powers the boat very well. It is very responsive and delivers smooth power through its range.It is in immaculate condition. Not a mark or scratch on it. The prop is totally un-damaged other than a little paint flaking off.The trailer is made by Brenderup. It is galvanised and was built for the boat. It has rollers for ease of use and a very easy to use winch. It has an integral, removable light board. The wheels and tyres are good. I have just changed the wheel bearings for peace of mind. These are made by Knott and are sealed, waterproof units, so should have no issues for years to come.The whole package tows very easily.So there it is. A fantastic set up. A fun and very seaworthy boat, sitting on a very good trailer, with a brilliant low hours engine that won't let you down.I am sure that whoever buys this will not be disappointed.Viewing welcome.
