80s Mustang 18ft 6in / 5.65m with 120hp 1990 V4 Evinrude motorThis is an exceptional hull for offshore fishing with plenty of room both in the cabin and on the deck.
I bought this boat with my dad with the intention of fishing offshore. We completed a number of repairs and refurbishments and then he passed away.
I have lost my fishing partner and motivation, so the boat is better of being used by you, instead of sitting in my driveway.Dad died 5 years ago now, and apart from cleaning the boat, inside and out, it hasn't moved. We intended putting on a new motor. The Evinrude on it will need a service, as well as flushing the trim/tilt. It ran well before the boat was parked up. The fuel in the tanks will need to be replaced as its been stationary for 5 years. I don't have a boat battery, but turned the engine over on my car battery when connected to starter motor.We spent $1,200 on the trailer when we bought it. New single leaf suspension, cross members replaced, brakes serviced. All is in good condition except the final cross member (see picture) which should be replaced. (~$120)I bought two brand new Bridgestone, light truck, tyres and had them fitted this week, and a new rotating jockey wheel.Two Mustangs with the same hull were listed on Boatsales for $17,500 and $16,999 and SOLD.
