Swanson's are renowned for their very clever design with good sea kindly sailing and incredible interior space. This iconic yacht, with an almost cult following was neglected.We have slipped her, No osmosis! and repaired the rudder pintals, repainted the hull and topsides, and cleaned her ready for installing a new engine.These boats are built solid! with the glass incredibly thick. Many of these boats have sailed extensive sea voyages, and the photo of the boy is with the yacht in the background in Tasmania.The main is very good, but the headsail is a bit small, but works. I have a hanked on one that is also very good. I sailed the yacht from Geelong to Queenscliff, I put a temporary outboard bracket on the stern which works enough to get about.I have a good working Kabuta 30hp engine and gearbox available for an additional cost of $3,750. Whether you are looking for an entry into sailing/cruising or planning extended voyages, this little beauty will live up to its enviable reputation and is priced to sell!!
