This is a Farr 30 built by Binks Boats. It was grounded on a reef, and I have repaired one half of the hull ready for a second layer of fiberglass with foam between, I have added a sugar scoop to the stern, making a big improvement to the shape. More photos to come.The centreboard (swing) looks to be in very repairable condition, It only took me five days to do the one side, so it is quite a reasonable job for the energetic!The trailer is in average condition, and I am not sure it is up to any travel, I think it is repairable, and had a quote of $1500 to get most of the repairs done. It is not registered. I suggest a flat bed truck would be the best way to pick it up.The size and reputation of these boats is legendary and with a lot of effort this one would come up very well, it is a six to 12 month project.It includes Mast Boom and sails, and some rigging, and the hydraulics for the swing keel (said to be working by the past owner)I can show you how to repair the other side, it was simple and quick, but messy.Item located in Queenscliff Victoria, about half an hour from Geelong.
