Colvic countess 28 lovingly refitted to an eye catchingly high standard. Reluctant to sell but the time has come to try and buy a house. I will start by saying I am a boat builder with a very high standard I served my time working on oyster yachts and j class racing yachts at Southampton yacht services now working on luxury tenders for superyachts. I've always said if I'm going to spend my working life on high quality boats I at least want my own boat to be of equal quality.I have owned the boat for 6 years and in that time I have completely gutted it and rebuilt to a stronger more luxurious standard. Apart from the obvious you can see from the pictures it has been completely rewired and a new blue sea fuse board fitted. The countess now boasts an automatic bilge pump and brand new waeco fridge. The two batteries are 6 months old and are maintained with a new charger. She is powered by a Perkins m30 3 cylinder diesel which I have just serviced and replaced the fuel injectors. She is very quiet due to excessive sound proofing around the engine box.The boat has been themed with black American walnut and light cream moisture resistant vinyl head linings as well as alcantara panels. All ply panels that have been wrapped with material are marine grade ply that has been resin coated for extra protection against any moisture. And all fibre glass has been protected with marine paints. Forward cabin The mattress is two years old but only used a hand full of times it is a pocket sprung memory foam mattress made by marine bedding. There is a removable infill in the centre "v" and a single three pin plug underneath. There are two generous size lockers that are carpet lined as well as two open shelves with led colour changing lighting hidden above and charging points in both sides for phones etc. The cabin has a large gebo hatch and two flush fitted led lights in the headlining. Also three large lockers under the bunk. HeadsThe heads is full beam with the manual pump whale toilet and sink on the port side and wardrobe on the starboard side. On the technical side the manual pump toilet has been serviced and all pipes replaced. The sink is filled using a whale flush fitted foot pump. There is a small gebo 200x200 hatch for ventilation in the headlining. On the luxury side it has beautiful American walnut doors with stainless steel door handles connecting the three cabins together the work top in avonite (copper canyon) and has a fibre glass sink. On the opposite side it has a carpeted open wardrobe with generous hanging space. Main cabinMain cabin continues the theme of American walnut which is complimented by new upholstery which was designed and made by ocean marine. The main bulkhead has been decorated with alcantara wrapped panels to give a light cosy feel to the cabin. Theres a flush mounted Samsung tv situated above the dinning area of which folds to a double berth. On the starboard side there's a 7' long sofa running the length of the cabin. There is a large quarter berth on the starboard side with smart nav desk and control panel. On the port side there's an "L" shape galley with avonite (night sky) work top and stainless sink also a cooker on gimbles and waeco fridge under the dining area.Exterior The deck is painted with light blue hemple none slip which gives the boat its  characteristic look all fittings have been upgraded to harken apart from the winches and furler which I didn't feel the need to change. The Bimini and lazy jack stack away system are two seasons old and made by quay sails. I made and fitted a new cockpit floor with easy access engine hatch with draining gully. All lockers have been ground back and freshly flow coated for easy maintance. Is a running joke in the marina that this boat is better looked after than the other half, I must admit it's true I make time to clean the boat weekly and always buy the best when it comes to looking after her. Has a heater and dehumidifier running permanently and the engine is run for an hour every week regardless of weather I take her out. Brings a tear to my eye at the though of selling her and I must stress I an in no rush to seek would rather she go to a deserving owner. The price is high but you are paying for a luxury yacht at the end of the day. The owner of this boat will not need to do anything other than cleaning and sailing. Thank you for looking
