"Blue Moon" is a 1964 Ray Wright Delta speedboat constructed from Aluminium. These boats were produced post war using materials and techniques from aircraft production in the 1940's. I carried out a complete professional nut and bolt restoration on her in 2013, no expense was spared, even the new windscreen was oven moulded by a specialist in Glasgow. The boat was stripped bare, etch primed and re-sprayed in the lovely blue and white two tone, completely rewired to modern standards and completely re-upholstered in original colours. This concours boat is now better than when originally hand built in the 60's.The original, rebuilt, unleaded 1500 pre cross flow engine is a sweet as a nut with it's brand new twin SU carburettors. She is a very special Delta and probably the best example in existence winning several trophies at classic rallies.
