This is a brilliant family boat as you can sail fish or row it., the boat is called an Argie 10 developed by boat builder Dudley Dix10ft long made by the stitch and glue method according to plans, stich and glue means the wood is stitched together with copper wire then multiple layers of fibreglass tape along with 3 thick coats of epoxy resin to the entire inside and the bottom making a very strong join plus an extra strong boat.3 built in boyancy tanks.Dudley Dix specs for this Argie10 Hull dry weight 29kgAs a Tender it will take 4 Adults For Rowing 5 Adults with gearFor Sailing 2 Adults or 3 Children Rowlocks are removable oars are handcrafted wood , the 300 year old Oregon Mast boom and sprit were hand crafted. Rudder & centreboard laminated & fibreglassed With a brand new Optimist sail very easy to rig up.The Optimist sail rig was a custom design for low power, hence the custom mast boom sprit so it's fun for all.You can buy bigger aluminium masts boom sails rigs .. for racing that's when it becomes very expensive.I have the plans for both the racing setup and this Optimist rigg.The boat has been stored in a dry garage.It's on a clean fold up Victorian registered Dundir trailer with lights to a standard 7pin plug registed until November 2017 I have registration transfer papers so you can take it then & there.Hull dry weight 29kg.The man my Father yacht racing champion ,builder of many boats & the builder of this boat.
