Unfinished steel cruising boat, 7.8 m, approx 26 feet with 2.5m beam (legal to tow without a permit).
The bottom and transom are 3mm, the sides appear to be 2mm but it's hard to measure. The ribs and stringers are 40 x 5 mm
There is a loading ramp available to assist loading but you would need to make your own transport arrangements. I'll help as much as I can to load it with my tractor, jacks etc.
Hull is complete, superstructure (i.e. cabin roof etc) is partially complete and of timber construction.
The boat was part of a deceased estate and has been sitting in a shed for years
It is a hard chine design with a keel / skeg to protect the prop
It has never been launched and the hull is sound with no rust but it is dirty
The boat could be set up for a stern drive or shaft drive
It is a big, beamy cruiser with a large cockpit and high gunwales
It's sitting on an old unroadworthy plant trailer available for an extra $500. The trailer would aid transport and storage while the boat is finished (it's not a boat trailer, it's just handy while finishing the boat)
