**** Price advertised here in pounds but also willing to take euros at the current exchange value ****Welcome to my sale of my superb yacht "Freelancer". Freelancer has been my home for the past 6 years and has been a fantastic place to live. Currently undergoing its 2 yearly repaint and checks will be out of the water in march....viewing keenly advised.Basically the vessel is a large "Gin Palace" with classic lines and loads of space..... On the lower deck there are 3 double bedrooms and two bathrooms. The deck consists of 1 bedroom with 2 x single bunks, drawers and wardrobe space, 1 bedroom with a raised double bed with wardrobe space beneath and shelving. The final bedroom is the master suite with a high quality super-kingsize bed (1200 pocket sprung mattress) an en-suite bathroom with electric flush toilet, large shower cubicle and wash basin and plentiful storage cupboards. On the same deck there is a large 'Family' bathroom with manual pump toilet, wash basin and shower cubicle. An 'under-stairs' cupboard is available. A spiral staircase leads to the main deck level. The vessel is accessed at this level, currently the vessel is berthed stern-to so the passarelle is situated on the centre-line at the stern. Moving forwards there is a large patio area (teak dec) with Teak tables and chairs ideal for those lovely sunny days. Entering the accommodation via the full width steel patio doors we enter the lounge which is furnished with free-standing domestic furniture....A two seater settee and single armchair (both recovered in 2015 and covered by throws since) Nest of coffee tables in solid oak and a range of fitted units compliment the lounge. Carrying on forward we come to the Galley. A full range of floor and wall units provide ample storage for kitchen utensils and food etc. There is a gas water heater (never used) a stainless steel sink/drainer and a slimline dishwasher. A full size domestic oven and hob is fitted - the hob is gas and the oven electric, an extractor hood with light is fitted over the hob. A tall fridge freezer completes the galley white goods. Doors at either end of the galley lead out to the main deck.Going forwards takes you into the wheelhouse which has large sloping windows to the front and half-height side windows. All the normal engine controls and gauges are present. Navigation equipment consists of a Furuno combined Chart/ depth/radar plotter, Neco auto-pilot, Sailor VHF (not DSC). A large area on the foredeck allows for relaxing and also contains the mooring equipment and anchor winch etc. On the starboard side of the main deck there is a large stainless steel and teak boarding ladder which, when lowere reaches just above the water for boarding dinghy or swimming etc.A ladder on the aft patio area leads up to the large flybridge which has duplicate engine and steering controls. Forward of the helm there is a large array of solar panels for charging batteries whilst away from shore hook up. 4 x 120 watt panels feed a 50 amp solar charger/inverter locate in the engine room. Mounted on the transom there are twin davits for carriage of a rhib/dinghy (RHIB shown on some pictures is not available) these can hold a boat and engine upto 500kg.A hatch in the aft patio deck leads to the large engine room. 2 x 360hp (max 450hp) engines, 11kva self contained generator, various switchgear, 8 x 6v Trojan 225ah batteries (new in 2013) form a bank of 24v dc batteries for lights etc. The batteries are also used for engine starting and driving a 5kva inverter for 240v The vessel has 4 x 900 litre diesel fuel tanks two central tanks mounted thwartships and two wing tans in the engine room. All tanks are stainless steel. Two 900 litre fresh water tanks are also located either side of the vessel in the aft section of the engine room. A range of automatic bilge pumps keep water out . The boat has been used as a houseboat for the last 6 years only having been to sea once in that time. Engines etc all work and included is a full service pack for each engine including filters and oil. Current fees for this marina are approximately €6000 per annun (if paid in advance) and there are various payment options available, it is one of the cheapest marinas in Spain. The marina, Almerimar, is one of the largest in southern Spain and has a good social scene with many ex-pats. The area is not touristy being a Spanish 'dormitory' type area. There are Electricity water are available on the jetty and the port is well covered by wi-fi via several different providers - vessel currently fitted with antenna and router for 6mb/s data at €20 per month. The marina is approximately 35 minutes from Almeria airport which is regularly served from Manchester, Gatwick and other airports - all airlines are budget so flights are very cheap. A major hospital is 10 minutes away and the port is served by English speaking doctors. This has been a great place to live for the last few years but health issues force the very reluctant sale......I have priced this vessel for a quick sale...any purchaser can walk onboard, fix up a gin and tonic and settle in! all furniture, utensils, bedding etc. is included.
