I have for sale 'Maid Marion' a part finished project, also affectionately known as 'Mad Maz'I have owned the boat for approximately 6 months but reluctantly, I have to part company with her as I have another boat which suits me and my family more. She is a very spacious, 22ft river cruiser/day boat.  Since I have owned it, it has had a complete rebuild of the engine which cost £650 - this was also inclusive of a full service.  The interior has been stripped right back, ready for re - carpeting and painting.  This boat has HUGE potential, she just needs a bit of love and time spent on her!  InteriorThe inside comprises large, spacious cabin, with a removeable roof and plenty of seating.  All the cushions have been re - upholstered in a tasteful grey material at the cost of £195.  There is a wooden floor throughout, which if you don't want carpet, will polish up really well.  There is a portable toilet, which needs a good clean, as does the small room that it is in.  The kitchen also needs a very good clean, or depending how much work you want to put in, ripping out and replacing!  The seating area has plenty of storage and converts into a double bed.  The inside walls/ceiling needs to be re - carpeting/covered but that won't take much.  There is also a removeable, wooden table which fixes to a metal bracket to the floor towards the rear of the boat.  The rear panel doors to the engine have been repaired as they were rotten when I purchased it. Exterior

Two thirds of the boat has been recently painted. The boat had been stood for a number of year before I bought it, so some water had seeped in causing a little damp.  I stripped it all back, so has been aired and 100 times better. There is a small panel near to the entrance doors which needs repairing as there is a small hole between the window and the body. All the wooden handles have been removed and paintstakingly sanded down and varnished to their natural colour.  All seals to the window are intact, but personally I would replace them.
Engine
The engine is a 10HP Yamaha 2 stroke outboard engine, with electric start from the turn of a keyI have tried to include everything good and bad about 'Maid Marion' however, there may be small things I have missed.  This is not a completed boat - it needs work and is a relatively easy project for someone with a bit of time, who wants to get it ready for the spring time.  This boat can be used now in it's present condition as the engine runs like new, it's just the interior isn't particularly pleasing to look at!! The cushions are not pictured as I have these away from the boat, however I have uploaded the pictures. The boat is moored at Shardlow Marina, Derbyshire, which is a couple of miles off Junction 24 of the M1/A50.  I am free to answer any questions you may have and if you want to come and view the boat, please message me so I can arrange to meet you and show you round! This really is a brilliant project with such massive potential for not a great deal of money, or time.GOOD LUCK BIDDING! :)
