This is a clean 2000 Sundeck 240. I am the second owner, and purchased it from the original owner of the boat in 2010. I estimate, approximately 4 uses on average per summer, adding few overall hours since my purchase. I added, a deluxe custom trailer, with spare tire, and loading guides, a wakeboard tower, with a new stereo, amplifier, tower speakers, lights, and wakeboard racks. Total invested, was approximately, 35,000.00 I replaced the carpets, some cushions, a new burled wood steering wheel, and had the boat detailed. The boat is overall in very good condition, with some minor scuffs, a small seam, that is beginning to open in one cushion in the bow, and trim tabs, that I just noticed were not working. I think the fix, is probably, just a new switch, or fuse. There were also some old sprayers, that probably need to be replaced, if you want to use the shower feature on the bow, and swim platform. They have rusted, and don't pull out. The boat has been maintained by Tims Ford Power Sports in Winchester, TN. I purchased the boat from the original owner, who was a Florida snowbird. He kept the boat in dry storage at a high end club in Marco Island Florida. The boat was launched, used and hauled at the end of the day, but it was indeed a salt water boat prior to my purchasing it. The owner was meticulous, and the engine was completely rebuilt, prior to him selling it.The boat runs strong, and is one of the best riding boats ever built. That sundeck 240 model is probably one of their best selling boats Searay ever launched. The boat is 16 years old, so there are some minor scuffs, one of the stickers on the side, is starting to peel, but relatively minor overall. I would prefer to sell locally if at all possible, so someone can see the boat, and pick it up personally. If they are from Tennessee, they may want to continue renting the storage unit, that only cost 100.00 / month for inboard storage, one mile from the lake. Very convenient, and it can be serviced locally, by giving the gate and combo code without needing to be there, or drop off.If you have any questions, please message me.
