Milly is a one of a kind, custom built boat of GRP construction. She is approximately 22ft long, with a small weelhouse area, two compact single berths in the aft, a separate 'loo' room with tiled floor and the main forward cabin with 'v' seats that could be made into a bed for the occasional sleep over. Her lightweight construction would make her an ideal vessel for use with an electric outboard/inboard engine, run from a solar panel(s) although she comes with a diesel inboard engine. If you did swap these over you'd be eligible for a 25% reduction in the annual licence fee to keep her on the canal & river network. As I have said she is a PROJECT boat. Her engine is not currently connected to the wheel, though it turns over and has had very little use. This needs to be reconnected first and fore most (if not replaced with an alternative means of propulsion). She also needs cosmetic work such as the re-lining of the wheelhouse with fresh ply, some repairs to the rubbing strips etc etc - and as always fresh paint/gel coat here and there. You can choose what colour to paint her, and what layout and engine type would best suit your needs. She has working lights, inbuilt speakers and a cassette radio (which may or may not work), outdated navigation equipment, including a ship to shore radio (see photographs), an anchor, fenders, pins, a hammer, a large tarp and ropes. She also comes with a boat safety certificate, valid until January 2020. By arrangement, I could have her taken to the nearest slipway, should you wish to transport her, at your cost, elsewhere. Otherwise, you can take over the cost of either licensing her, or paying for a mooring for her. She can be used on the sea or in the canals and rivers, due to her 'short central keel ' construction :-) She already gets many appreciative comments from passers by, but would look fabulous with a bit of TLC! I have been advised that she would sell for £7000+, if she was brought up to spec. but taking into consideration the fact that she is a project, I am looking for £2950 ovno. If you are genuinely interested and have questions please do not hesitate to ask. (But please no time wasters!) Thank you for looking :-)
