Classic Retro Simms Super V Speedboat
Estimated price for orientation: 0 $
Category: Power Boats
Class:
Description Manufacturer: Simms Trailer: Included Type: Super V Engine Type: 35Hp Outboard Length (Feet): 14 Engine Manufacturer: Johnson
For sale is a superb example of a late 70's early 80's Simms Super V Speedboat. It has original gel coat in very good condition and with traditional hand painted sign writing of what I understand is its original name of Aubergine Streak. The interior is also as far as I know original and in pretty good condition. It comes with a 5 litre fuel tank and 12 volt battery. The engine is a Johnson 35HP electric start outboard motor which had a new impeller last year and pumps water well. Last time it was used at the end of last year it had a slight miss-fire occasionally, so I would suggest that it is in need of a good service.Boat comes with a snipe trailer as pictured, which tows lovely. Recently towed the boat back from Tewkesbury with no problems at all. It could do with a couple of new mudguards as one is damaged.Included in the sale is the boat cover, the wheel clamp and hitch lock.We have had many a good time in the boat but unfortunately its time to sell and let somebody else enjoy this classic piece of boating history. The engine has been dry stored all through the winter in my garage and is currently detached from the boat sitting on the engine stand, which i will also include in the sale. There is also an anchor with the boat.
