This is a great little sloop, a 1968 O'day Day Sailer. The boat comes with registered, road ready, trailer.Boat:
17' 1968 O'day Day Sailer - there was no hull number when I received it.The boat is water ready. The boat was recently restored which included new paint to the interior, hull and deck, minor body work, stepping of the mast, refinished wood benches, new cleats & lines, new motor mount and a new centerboard handle w/ fittings.
In addition to what is listed above the boat comes with:
-3 sails in good shape - main sail, jib & storm jib
-2 life jackets
-all lines only used one season
-main sail boom cover
-custom boat cover - used while stored in slip
-new mast step - makes rigging & transport a breeze
-new stays & spreaders
-2005 5 hp mercury outboard motor with forward and reverse. This is a two stroke, long shaft. Previous owner lightly used on dingy. Was slow on start up but ran fine for me all season, may need light service to fix slow start up. I replaced the impeller at the start of last season and the water pump worked well. I only used it with the external fuel tank, which is also included with purchase.Trailer:
