We are selling our beautiful replica Dutch barge. She is a very much loved vessel from caring owners. She has been custom built to a Dutch gentleman, who loved and enjoyed her until he passed away in his retired years. She is a steel barge, her bottom is in a perfect condition and it has just has been antifouled. We have a recent survey proving it. Her dimensions are 30ft by 11ft, so she is and ideal boat, if you have a shorter mooring, but you want a wide boat with plenty of space inside.She is powered by a sweet running BMC diesel engine with keel cooling, which makes her a fast and powerful boat. A lovely smooth steering mechanism making her very comfortable to drive. She has a special, very beautiful traditional Dutch fishing boat shape, making her a head-turner.This boat has a low air draft and water draft, which makes her an ideal vessel for cruising on the English canals and rivers. Outside she has got very nice aluminium windows, which are mostly opening and she has plenty of hatches. A brand new canopy covering her teak back deck and providing a nice sitting area even in rainy days. She even got a stainless steel bathing ladder for the warm summer days. As you enter the vessel, you find a light and pleasant room with an L-shape settee and a small table to enjoy the view and the good company from the boat’s highest point.Then there is a nice kitchen and a bathroom opposite. In the kitchen there is a 3 burner gas hob and a gas instant water heater producing hot water.In the forward cabin you can enjoy a big double bed and lots of storage space. This boat has a fitted Trumatic gas blown air central heating making her very cosy even in winter time. About her extras: she has got a 12V stereo system, fitted VHF radio, solar panels, navigation lights, 230V plugs and shore line to hook up.
