Hello, We at Genesis Boat Works LLC buy, refurbish and sell boats/yachts 30' and above. We offer our boats at any stage of completion. One of the boats currently in our inventory is this 1982 50' Ocean Sports Fisherman. She is a 3 stateroom, 2 head mid level galley lay out. She has been sitting on land for 5 years. She was a turn key running boat when she was pulled out. Power comes from twin Detroit Diesel 8V92's making 715 HP each. She has a 15 KW generator. We have removed the headliner in the master stateroom, removed most of the galley and all the wall paper. The galley was a very poor layout/design and had some rot issues from the forward window leaking. We have turned the motors over by hand but not tried to start them yet. They look to be in good shape with newer turbo blankets and recently cleaned inter coolers. The back deck has soft hatches and needs work. The boat was painted from the rub-rail up at some point and the paint is shot and coming off in spots. The hull is in great shape. This is a great opportunity to buy the boat as is and do it up yourself or let us do what we are good at.
