Description
After being messed around by ebayer jedz_2014 this is now being offered as a buy it now listing. If you can't afford it please don't purchase it.Genuine buyers this time only please ! To save any more confusion, this boat doesn't come with a trailer. (however you could keep it at the marina until one is sourced)For sale we have my little pride and joy, my Nice tidy Norman 20 boat. Its had one hell of a lot of modernising completed on it. Great for overnights and weekends away, currently moored in sharpness marina. Extremely reliable 28hp engine, service at the end of last summer with new impeller and gearbox oil. . A brand new 100 watt 5.25amp Solar panel that keeps the battery topped up all the time has been installed over the last 2 weeks ! The boats got 2 canopies, one that I use for the summer (A nice tidy one) and a winter canopy. (which is on it at the moment.)
The boat benefitted last year from a complete strip back of the old paint and was treated to a nice fresh coat of proper marine paint, (which I have a new tin of which is unopened and can be used to touch up the odd marks). I've re-upholstered all of the external seats, added new fuel lines, amp and voltage gauges, plus added brand new navigation lights and main headlights. The back of the boat has had new rubber flooring laid, has also been repainted and has also been covered in white and blue plastic, its now really easy to keep clean with just a simple wipe over. I've also got four new fenders that will come with the boat, they're completely unused and still in there packaging, all ready to go on the boat. The boat's safety certificate is valid until October of this year, but should fly through the inspection without any problems at all. There is a wooden table that can be put up in the rear of the boat. There's also a cupboard in the boat that could be used for storing clothes, however we always kept a porta potti in there. The Norman 20 is an ideal starter boat, and with the 28 hp outboard we've been from sharpness right the way through to Bredon stopping off at Slimbridge, Frampton, Gloucester, and Tewkesbury along the way. The engine performed faultlessly since I've owned it and was fabulous when opened up on the upper severn between Gloucester and Tewkesbury. The photos that I've got on here will be updated as these don't do the boat justice. This will be a real bargain for someone.
Any questions just call or text me on 07857345094 or message me via ebay. I'm not desperate to sell this, but I am open to sensible realistic offers. Please pay by Cash or bank transfer.Feel free to wander down to the marina and take a look at the boat.
On 06-Mar-17 at 13:15:36 GMT, seller added the following information:I've added a video of the engine being started after 2 weeks of standing still this morning (06/03/2017)and as you can see you couldn't ask for a better starting engine. There is also a video of the engine running whilst in gear. I also forgot to mention there a sink onboard, I've added pictures of this and the new solar panel which been installed. My plan was to add a waeco fridge this year, the solar panel would have been powerful enough to run that on its own and charge the battery during the day. There are 2 blue led strip lights in the sleeping area along with a white strip light which is incredibly bright and throws out enough light to enable you to sit out in comfort all evening and see your surroundings comfortably. Ive also added a picture of the working amp and volt meters installed. My mooring fees for this boat is £59.90 per month. The river licence (with the canal and river trust) works out at £49 per months My insurance works out at £20 per month. IMPORTANT UPDATE !!!Today I have spoken to the management at the marina and there is a possibility that the new owner can take on the mooring, however I must stress that this is solely at the discretion of the marina management. They will basically have a meeting with you and go through the rules and just generally make sure your not a mass murderer, and as long as you can satisfy their needs you will be good to go. So if you need to speak to me with regards to this just give me a call on 07857345094 and I will go through it with you. If you only want the boat WITH the mooring, it's imperative that you talk to me before the auction ends, as this meeting would and should take place before the auction ends for everyone's peace of mind. If you just want to use the boat on the canal without the mooring then that's fine, this won't effect the sale.
Only genuine people to buy it now or put in offers required. No offer will be accepted unless I've had phone contact on 07857345094Sorry about this but I want the sale to be a fair one and the last auction of this boat just wasted 10 days. So genuine buyers welcomed. Call 07857345094I've just had to remove one bidder for this reason. Please if you've no feedback please call or text to confirm your a genuine buyer. Thank you.
A video's of a trip up to purton this morning and a quick wash over ready for the auction end on wednesday. Some additional pictures have also been added.
