23ft Classic 2 berth Sailing Cruiser
Estimated price for orientation: 850 $
Category: Sailing Boats
Class:
Description Year: 1937 Type: Cruiser Hull Material: Larch on Oak Keel: Long Keel
“Lenore” is a 23ft classic wooden cutter built about 1938 in Scotland. She is complete with sails, spars, upholstery and rudder. Probably larch on oak. Extensive renovation 8 years ago, and sailed from Kent to Cornwall 5 years ago. No engine; was last used with a small outboard (not available with boat). Unused for 4 years and now replaced with Cornish Shrimper. Hull is splined and covered with epoxy and fibreglass fabric below the waterline. This is stable, and has been on the hull for several years. Photos show boat is on a trailer. Note, this is not sold with the boat, and is not suitable for road transport as it’s suspension units are too light for the weight of the boat. The piece of wood shown on top of the boat was merely put there to support a tarpaulin. Similarly, the rough planking shown in the cockpit was put there to carry a support for the tarpaulin. Boat is located inland, in Cornwall. To discuss, call Chris on 07772 519822
