These boats are very sturdy. They were designed by Royal Lowell and produced in coastal New Hampshire in the 1980s. Many of them are still being used as fishing boats despite being 35 years old. Margie Ann is powered by a 90 HP Evinrude E-Tec outboard with hydraulic steering. She has 36 gal of fuel storage in two above-deck tanks which are mounted under the gunwales. The wheelhouse sides and windows were replaced three years ago along with the VHF antenna. Comes with anchor and rode, compass, Garmin chartplotter and depth chart and radio. The electronics haven't been used in a couple of years so there may be some issues There is one berth in the tiny cabin and room for a porta-potty. The boat likes to cruise at 13-14 kts. but can do 20 if in a hurry. Excellent for day cruising on the coast or a big lake. Could also be used for a small fishing boat.
