For Sale RL24 Treasure Island is a one-owner factory made mark 1V. This trailer sailor is insured with a condition report and sitting on a road registered trailer. The last race sailed was the Load Mare’s Regatta in November where we finished first on scratch in a 30knot wind. The lift keel and Holmes brothers dagger rudder gives this boat a very impressive performance at a club level. Treasure Island has always been a race winner and many time state champion. The sail wardrobe is in excellent condition complete with spinnaker launch shoot, a total of three mains, seven headsails and three spinnakers. The topsides have been professionally resprayed in two-pack. Underneath has been filled, faired, resprayed and doesn’t reflect the condition of boats that are dragged up on the sand. This vessel is maintained to a cat 7safety standard and ready to go. Treasure Island has been cruised extensively with a family of 5. She is sold with a cursing mast and sails, boom tent, bunk and cot pit cushions, two-burner metho stove and 27meg radio. Treasure has done Port Phillip Bay, Albury Wodonga, Gold coast, Myall Lakes, Port Stephens, Gippsland Lakes and Broken Bay just to name a few. The RL floats in just a few inches of water and is very easy to trail, rig, launch and retrieve. Also can be towed behind most four-cylinder cars. The outboard motor is a 5hp tohatsu in near enough to brand new condition, hardly-never used and flushed with fresh water.
