Up for sale is a 1958 fiberglass Takaba launch with tandem trailer. Powered by a: U.S. Navy Diesel DA High head Buda 40 HP -- Built in 2001 to factory specs and gently used since. The last time I saw this engine being sold it cost $20,000 used so this boat is worth every penny. This engine will last you a lifetime. You will be hard pressed to find a boat this size with a diesel engine. I have the U.S. Navy service manuals for this engine.
This is a 5-8-knot boat that will put a smile on your face every time you go out. This diesel engine sips diesel so few bucks will go a long way. The fiberglass launch is in excellent condition and very sea worthy. Freshly painted top and bottom. Both tanks recently professionally interior polished (cleaned).Custom top has a new Sunbrella blue top which can be installed or removed as needed. The frame that holds the top can easily be removed or added when needed. VHF radio. Antique compass. Ready for a new home.
