This is my Highfield Hustler 14 ft speedboat. It's not been used in anger for 10 years since I bought a Maxum 18ft inboard which I keep permanently in France and don't use a boat in the UK anymore. It's in need of some TLC - mainly cosmetic but details follow. It's been stored in my garden for the last 10 years under an industrial grade cover (not included) and is dry and as clean as can be expected after 10 years no use. The hull is in good nick with a few scrapes but no structural damage. The engine starts & runs  but will need the gear oil changing and a new set of plugs plus the seal that goes where the wiring enters the engine needs replacing. See you tube video of engine starting & running      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7K2Zw9jR_Y   . The trailer is in reasonable nick, is roadworthy and has two decent tyres plus a spare. Trailer could do with a coat of Hammerite. The winch on the trailer is fairly new. It also has an alloy channel that can be used for motorcycle transport if you drop the boat off onto the grass. The interior is tatty to say the least and, ideally needs at least new seats and a new carpet. Back set fell apart and is missing. The steering cable is completely seized up and wants replacing before you could use the boat. Engine has, in total, no more than 300 hours on it and will probably need a new impeller. Inside of the fuel tank is completely clean & shiny. It was mainly used on a gravel pit for waterskiing but did get a few weeks use on the sea in the South of France. The boat is sold "as seen" as a project - in ebay terms essentially "for spares or repair". Trailers of this type typically fetch £150 - £200 on ebay and the motor, although old, would probably make the same. I sold an old Evinrude 6HP non-runner last year for £60.Cash on collection.
