SEA HUNTER 450 Fast fishing / dayboat I bought this boat and engine package new 10 years ago as part of my pre-retirement plans. Unfortunately as is often the case with the best laid plans, things did not work out as expected and the boat has only been used on five occasions and remains in almost new condition. When I first purchased the boat I was eager to ensure that she was properly sea worthy so had an RNLI inspection and safety check carried out and implemented all their recommendations. Which included purchasing a new auxiliary engine (Tohatsu 3.5hp two stroke) whilst this engine has been started it has never been run for more than about 10 minutes, fire extinguisher, boarding ladder alongside the usual flares, anchor etc. The main engine a Tohatsu 30 hp (two stroke) came new with the boat and has been run for no more than 30 hours. In calm conditions with two on board it will bring the boat onto the plane with ease. The boat originally came with a single helmsman’s seat, I purchased a second to allow a passenger the comfort of a fixed seat, both seats rotate and provide a comfortable platform for fishing etc. As part of the package the boat also came with the following electronics; Garmin fish finder, Garmin GPS and an M Tech MT-500 marine radio. I also added navigation lights and a stainless steel radar arch, which I believe enhances the boats appearance. I have just purchased a new bespoke boat cover and an engine cover. The snipe trailer came new, as part of the package and also remains in excellent condition. However, the tyres are original; and whilst they do hold air, but could probably do with replacing if you intend to do a lot of towing. The boat is easy to launch and can certainly be managed single handed. This really is a great little package and despite having used it so infrequently, I will be sorry to see it go.
