Class:
Description Condition: Used Year: 1965 Make: Appleby
1965 Appleby Boat w/Trailer-Clean title in hand-Plenty of seating for 2-3 people-Wood reinforced transom for outboard motor mounting-V-Shaped bow good for stability going through waves-Trailer with new winch-Trailer needs new wheels/tires (5 Lug 4.80-8) about $40 EachThis is a cool little jon boat that I bought and registered in May of 2013. I have used it for cruising and fishing, and found it to be very manageable and easy to launch and load. I ran an old 2-Stroke 5HP Mercury on it (Not Included), and it ran great and got up to good speeds under displacement, with two people on board. The hull has a dent in the bow from where some previous owner ran into something. The trailer tires are flat, and likely need to be replaced. As it sits, it will not be able to be towed with out air, or changing the tires. Tires are 5 lug 4.80-8. I will be working on replacing the tires in the meantime, but once I do the price will go up to compensate for costs. This has been a great fun boat for me, the first I ever owned. Unfortunately I used it less and less after I moved away from the water, and it has been sitting for the past year and a half. I am about to move again and need to part with it soon.If you purchase, you will need to bring the new wheels in order to tow the boat home.5 Lug 4.80-8 Trailer TiresThanks,Will Jackson
