Welcome to my listing for a Sea Doo GTX 1996 This is for spares or repairs, not a running jet ski. Selling due to loosing my dry storage.I bought the ski a few years ago and had great fun while it was working. I always cleaned and flushed it. Last season I had fuse after fuse blow so I tested then stripped the engine and found that sludge had blocked a cooling line, forcing water into mag side of the crack case flooding the magneto and stator. I started collecting spares for a rebuild but have really run out of time. I believe with some time, elbow grease and not a lot of money this ski could see the water again. So what do you get:Indespension bunk trailer with recent wheel bearings, new winch, new mud guards, okay tyres, good spare wheel/tyre and a spare set of new wheel bearings. Working light board with 7 pin connector. Hull and body is custom painted and looks awesome, good condition, a few scratches but nothing detrimental. Just needs a good clean inside and out. Hydro turf grips. Seats in good condition for the year. Storage cover if you like the colour.787 Rotax Rave (carb) two stroke engine and exhaust in bits. This has been stored in a garage but moisture has attacked over winter and has got some surface rust spots. Needs a good de-grease and scotchbright. Dess key is supplied. The twin carbs haven't been disconnected and are still in the hull as are the petrol/oil tank, jet pump and fuse box electrics etc.I have purchased a replacement fly wheel and mag, a stator with pickup, a new rectifier, new mag-side crankshaft bearings and a new start button.Major parts needed NOT supplied.Full gasket/seal kit. Battery. Starter Motor. Temperature probe. Spark plugs. The pistons might be okay but the piston bearings do need replacing. Cooling system pipes. Other bits may require replacement. One mirror glass. Free manual readily available to download online.
