Wayfarer World dinghy, sail no 10105 built by Porter Bros in 2002 The Wayfarer is a very stable and versatile dinghy. You can sail them with up to six people on board, you can sail them single handed or with a small outboard you can ferry at least eight people over to the beach. They are very difficult to capsize, I've had a Wayfarer planing in a force five with two small sons on board in complete confidence, and I've pottered on a balmy day just enjoying the passing world. The World is one of the more recent variations on the basic design. It is all fibreglass, no wood, so there is minimum maintenance. It is self draining, bailers and transom flaps, and with all the enclosed spaces sealed it is unsinkable. My boat is in excellent condition, there are a few minor scratches and dings - it's not in showroom condition - but there is no damage anywhere. It is a very robust boat. The hull and deck have not been painted so there is nothing hidden. Everything is there and works, just add water. It comes with a good, but not racing condition, crisp main sail with a single line of reefs, a good jib and launching trolley. The sails are good cruising sails by Hyde. It has the hull fittings for an asymetric but no asymetric bowsprit or spinacker. The trolley is sound. There is no road base with the boat. If you have any questions call Ian on 07904 773 208. Preferred payment with old fashioned folding money on collection. No Paypal. We could deliver, but it would be an extra, much better if you can beg, borrow or steal a trailer.
