Hi, and welcome to my auction.You are bidding on a 13 foot Del Quay Dory complete with a 2006 low hours tohatsu outboard, very good galvanised road trailer, Spare seagul outboard and two 25l fuel tanks.The Boat
For those that are not familiar these are a well respected design, with cathederal hull giving very good sea keeping and very stable at anchor. The boat plains very easily and is very fast. The hull is foam filled meaning the boat is classed as unsinkable.
Console steering and controls(outboard also has tiller arm fitted and working so the engine could be used on a different boat, and is a handy back up).
I have used the boat on the sea and on rivers and is equally at home.
This boat does not have to have a boat safety cert for use on rivers, just has to be insured. I have used it on the Great Ouse where you can by a day license for £8.50. The Outboard2006 low hours tohatsu 25 hp, deresticted so now 30 hp. Had a service last year including new impellor, new spark plugs, carb clean ect.
For those that don't know Tohatsu are a part of nissan and have made engines for Mercury/Mariner.
Starts easily and pushes the boat up on the plane quickly.
Very economical.The trailer Fully galvanised, new wheels tyres and axles last july has rollers for easy launch/recovery. Could do with a new winch but is useable.
Two spare wheels.The spare outboard.
British Seagul. stars easily and has good compresion. Pumps water well. Engine is old but fine as a aux/backup.Veiwing welcome Located CB62QA.
