Usable small river cruiser on a road trailer.Selling due to buying a sailing boat & no longer have time or money for finishing off this one and it's getting in the way.I have had this out on the water and it motors around well enough - with a 25 horsepower engine, it might even be a little over-powered.I was fixing it up for my son to use, but he's decided that he doesn't like boats (teenager), so I've lost all interest in finishing it, not that there's much to do.Good points:Cockpit rebuilt with new plywoodNew flooring (sole) in cabin & cockpitNew wiring, fused switches & navigation lightsTopsides rubbed down, old paint removed & newly paintedOutboard was running nicely last time it was used.Trailer has had new brake shoes & bearings fitted just after I bought it.Bad points:Been sat on its trailer for the last 3 yearsTrailer bearings will probably need replacing depending on how far it'll be going- I replaced them when I bought it, but they are not sealed & have been used for some time - I can help sort those, though.Outboard will likely need a service (of course).Cockpit woodwork could do with a few more coats of varnish, mainly for cosmetics.Needs a rain-proof cover of some sort - otherwise storing out of the weather when not in useInterior cabin could benefit from a new head lining for cosmetics.
Summary
Nice little day-boat for cruising the river
Add a few finishing touches and it'd be a very nice little day boat.Viewing recommended, presently out of the water on its trailer.I will not split the engine from the boat - they go together as I need the room.
