This Triton 24 is in very good condition and has a very spacious and tidy cabin with near new upholstery. These Triton 24s are sturdy large-volume fibreglass construction production yachts.They are very popular for both racing and family cruising.A quick Google search will show that Triton 24s typically sell for between $6,000 and $16,000.The owner is after a quick sale, so this is a chance to buy an excellent style of yacht that just needs a little cleaning and tidying up to look fabulous.The Triton 24's modern "wide hipped" hull design provides a huge cabin and large cockpit.There is even around 6 ft head room in the cabin at the galley end.Large table with lots of seating space.Loads of clean dry storage compartments, including a large insulated cooler box.Perfect for entertaining or sleeping over - this yacht has taken many groups out for Harbour fireworks on New Year's Eve.Sleeping berths for six, with near new cushions and upholstery throughout.Separate forward cabin area with top hatch and curtain screen provides private and roomy toilet area.Boat has a substantial set of sails, lots of ropes, boat hooks, etc.Includes more than enough life vests, in excellent condition, along with other safety gear.A solar panel keeps the battery charged and ready for use at all times.The outboard motor has never let the owner down and moves the boat along quite quickly.A fiberglass dinghy is available for $100 if required.The boat is moored at Burns Bay in Lane Cove, an excellent location with very good facilities and a new jetty.Public moorings are currently available in Burns Bay, and many other Sydney Harbour bays, at minimal cost, and taking over the existing mooring is negotiable.I have been involved with boats and boat maintenance on Sydney Harbour since the 1970s and can provide information on moorings and any other questions.Inspections can be arranged and as always are recommended.The yacht comes with either a Chrysler 7hp high-thrust sailpower outboard or a 9.9hp Mercury (I believe this model is made by Yamaha) long shaft outboard motor in good running order.
