Here is my boat Henrietta and she has been my awesome, comfortable and dependable home for the last 3 years. I'm now choosing to sell her due to increased work commitments reducing the time I've got to look after her. I'm looking for a quick sale as I have a house ready to move in to so I'm happy to discuss offers but don't waste your time with silly ones! She's up for sale for £12,000 ovno. Here is some background information about her:Originally built in 1969 by Harborough MarineRefitted approx. 10 years ago by a previous ownerI purchased the boat from Great Haywood Marina, Staffordshire in February 2014Last survey was carried out when I bought her and you can view this (I'm happy to go through the survey recommendations and what work I got done)Hull last blacked in March 2014 before being returned to the waterCurrently moored near Adlington, Lancashire. Can be viewed externally anytime but if you want to view inside and discuss anything with me please get in touch.Since March 2014, she has been a fantastic home for me and my Dalmatian, Harvey! We've sailed her quite far in that time from Stafford to Wakefield (3weeks solid) then Wakefield to Chorley (11days). Mainly sail single handed and she's easy to use! Would make a great home for anyone who likes the simple life or she can be easily improved with technology to be a luxurious home or holiday retreat!EquipmentVailiant hot water boiler (could do with a service)Multi fuel stoveParker gas oven/grill with 2 burner hob (fully working order)Lister SR2 Diesel engine (last service August 2015 - works perfectly)Fully working battery charger with 3 leisure batteries and one starter battery210 litre fresh water tank with water pumpCassette toilet3000w generator (working but recommend a service)Henrietta is a project and does need some TLC but she is still working absolutely fine as she is. However here is what needs doing:Outside needs painting. I painted the rear deck in August 2015 and this part still looks great!Front deck needs a proper cratch putting on it to make it a really useable storage/sitting areaKitchen sink needs replumbing due to seal broken underneathInternal walls could do with another coat of paintHull is sound, however, don't expect 10mm of steel! She's 50 years old so is a bit thin in places just like most things at 50! That being said I had a lot of work done to the hull (happy to explain exactly what) and was told that the hull will be fine for another 15 years at least!Boat safety has expired but due to some of the work needed, you might have to get a new one anyway, but again I'm happy to discuss this with anyone who views herDoes need re-licencing too but can discuss this with anyone who puts in an offer.I feel I've already reflected the above work in the price. I won't be knocked down on price because you want to put a new hull on her. If you want a new boat, pay £30k+ for one! I've had a lot of time wasters in the past so please only arrange a viewing if you are genuinely interested in buying my boat at (or very close to) my asking price! There you go - an honest ad for my brilliant home! If you want to discuss it more or want to arrange a viewing, please call Rich on 07932620046.
