This 55ft 2006 Sirius Narrowboat has been cared for meticulously from new, with regular services and maintenance. I have been the only owner of 'Old Spot'; I commissioned her construction by a small business (Sirius) in Stourport-on-Severn. We purchased her as a sail away, and completed the fit out later. 'Old Spot' can be found in Gloucester Docks with mooring until Feb 2018 optionally available. She is a roomy two berth, ideal liveaboard, but could be easily converted to a comfortable four berth for holidays. Her 40hp Yanmar Barrus Shire Engine has very low running hours, and has started first time, every time for over 11 years! BSSC expire November 2019.
New external paint job in Summer 2016.
Last dry docked July 2015.Accommodation: We will be selling 'Old Spot' complete with a 240v Beko washing machine, and a 12v Lec fridge, both purchased as new in the last 12 months. The galley has been newly fitted with cream shaker units and solid oak worktops for a clean contemporary style. The saloon offers a cosy Laura Ashley two seat sofa (included with the boat, but not fitted, so much comfier than the usual boat seating!) and an Aarrow Acorn 4kw multi fuel stove. Along with two electric panel heaters this more than adequately heats the boat. In fact, we often need to open a window in the middle of winter! A large shower cubicle and pump out toilet make the bathroom a pleasure! Water is engine heated or alternatively, heated by a 240v water heater. 12v power is maintained by a bank of three leisure batteries whilst out, cruising.
