1970's Skidaddale Motorised Surfboard,Very very rare sort after collectors item, one of very few left in the world. This revolutionary piece of British history was designed and built in the 1970's for the sum of £700. It is powered by a 160cc Husquavrna 2 stroke engine which goes like the clappers and is capable of 30mph on water. There is an added bonus of a second earlier Skidaddle minus the engine which could be rebuilt using a leaf blower/generator style engine.
The Skidaddle has two onboard safety paddles that clip into the deck, they are coloured orange and can be seen in the photo's, the SKidaddle is really stable on the water and does not tilt when you climp on board. The throttle control system is connected to the reins of the stand up support cord.
I love these rare and wonderfull inventions but its time to let go, i struggle to get my motor bike in and out of the garage with the skidaddle in the way, so time for someone else to enjoy it.Last four pictures are of the doner/rebuild Skidaddle.Location north Wales LL30Sold as seen.
