I am reluctantly selling my 70's vintage Seal 22, which I have owned for about 17 months and not even put on the water once. Unfortunately I grossly overestimated how much free time I would have following the birth of my second child and the prospect of having enough time to rig, launch and sail is something I can currently only dream about. The boat is generally in sound condition, the topsides and woodwork are looking a little tired and could do with a lick of paint or a polish, inside is clean. There is a spray hood which may have deteriorated in the time the boat has been left standing. The hull is beautiful and will not need antifouling for some time.The sails were removed from the rigging on collection in November 2015 and have been dry stored. There is a roller furling genoa (excellent condition), a main (good condition) with a boom bag (also good condition) and a spinnaker which I believe has never been used.The engine is a single cylinder diesel which is apparently very economical. From memory it produces 15hp. I have not personally had this running, however it was in use when the boat was last on the water at the end of the 2015 season. I have been in the process of building a road trailer for this boat, using a twin axle caravan chassis. It is not complete, but won't take a lot to finish. It is available by separate negotiation. The galvanised launching trailer is new as of march 2015 and has only been dunked twice.
