‘pocket cruiser’.   Ready to trail and sail. The ‘C’ Class West Wight Potter  designed by Stanley Smith is built in strong GRP. It is terribly easy to launch as it floats in about ten inches of water. It can be moved on its trailer on hard standing very easily by one adult. It has a bermudian rig. The mast is not heavy and quick to raise up and down.  It is the ideal boat for those seeking solitude in the backwaters.  Length a handy 14 foot 6 inches, and beam 5 foot 4 inches, so it does not block up a driveway.  The yacht’s compact size means cheaper boatyard or mooring expenses. The boat dates we believe from the late 1970s and is an excellent example of the ‘C’ Class.  I am sad to be selling this craft but no longer have the spare drive space to store her. Whisper has a single steel centreplate - easy to raise and lower with a simple pulley tackle. Cosy cabin that sleeps two adults in reasonable comfort.  Cabin ventilators. Good condition for age.  Some odd areas of gel coat crazing only. Rear locker that could be used to store a small outboard. Inventory : Alloy mast, wooden boom and main sheet.  Original rudder and tiller. Original tan mainsail – reasonable condition. Roller reefing  foresail,  Topping lift. New  (unused) white main by Rockalls Tan foresail. Cabin mounted cleats so anchor rope and mast halyards can be worked from the cockpit. Wooden shafted traditional boat hook. Two fenders. Cabin light, navigation lights. Fuse box with cable fed to rear locker. Has sockets for other electrical items. No battery supplied, but  the feed cable is within the rear locker ready for connecting up. Rowlocks installed. (Oars not supplied ) Bunk cushions. Cabin carpet. Cabin door with useful porthole. Fire Extinguisher Trailer – reasonable order.  Bearings renewed two years ago. Light board and plug for car connection. Orange lifebuoy Outboard bracket.
