This could be a very nice project for somebody with time on their hands.Mechanically we have not had real issues except some minor things to be expected of a old boat. Since the water pump failed it has sat on my drive for 2 years. The only major repair we had was a failed seal on the crankshaft which was replaced 2 years ago. And unfortunately the two trim cilinders have completely ceased up and I have not been able to repair or find a replacement. We took the upper and lower drive unit off last year for maintenance (and to replace the water pump) but since then it has not been cleaned up or put back together again. So be prepared to do some work if you still want to take it into the water this year! The upholstery looks rather old and tired and has mold which I have not been able to get rid off. I had new upholstery done 3 years ago on the inside cabin. Also the control panel could do with a complete revamp as some items are missing and/or not working (well)The boat comes with a very nice double axle trailer "Super Rollercoaster 55" which I bought brand new 6 years ago for just over £3,000 from a company called Indespension (they are still selling them). I have changed the valves on the tyres and she is ready to go. The boat comes also with auxiliary water skis and wet-suit, life vests, safety suits, radio / fish-finder and other stuff you can see on the picturesI have tried to give as much information as I could with below pictures and I am completely open about the issues that I know about. But I cannot give any guarantees, as its an old boat. You are free to come and inspect as it is sitting on my drive in Portsmouth. Just message me if you want to visit, note that I am only available in the evenings/weekends if you want more details. But you are also free to visit and inspect on your own, just let me know. There is no reserve and I am just going to let it run until the end, so I do NOT have a buy it now price (and pls. don't bother to ask)Happy Bidding!-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Basic Info on Engine and Outboard:Alpha One Gen I
3.0 Liter and 180HP
I am also including the workshop manual (as new) The Engine needs clean-up and some paint but its working wellThere are also two good charged battery's included (forgot to add picture) Another view of the engine Hydraulic pump unit still working, we replaced all relays 2 years ago Lower unit, no excessive wear or tearOnly need to replace waterpump A bit of damage on propeller, probably best to replace it but still good enough for meNeeds a proper clean and greasing up Lower unit with propeller removed Lower unit picture from top Comes with new Water-pump impellor (2x) / housing including gaskets etc. Upper unit with drive shaft, again....needs a good clean. From different angle Over view pic of some of the items Unfortunately hydraulic Rams ceased up, can probably be solved with a hydraulic press. I took one piston out but the endcaps are completely stuck on the cilinder. Gimbal Housing still connected to the boat.
The trailer is probably worth more than the boat itself, I was thinking of selling them separately but that's too much headache to arrange. Trailer comes with Wheel clamp
Comes with below life-vests Comes with these life vests as well and some survival suits / flare kit
Comes with a radio (as new) and a old fish-finder (transducer /wiring is build-in)
Comes with a complete set for water skiing (hardly used)Water skis, towing rope and wet-suit and 2 brand new pedalsHarnass (mainly used for wind surfing but throwing that in as well)
Still looks a very nice boat with nice lines. All original upholstery is still in (except inside cabin) and needs a complete revamp, cleaning alone will not do it. I don't have the boat original cover and just covered it with plastic sheet. There are still push buttons (some are completely gone) to hold the original cover.
The middle window folds open to get onto the bow section, mechanics are still working fine.
Basic unit, and needs a complete new panel, wiring not professionally done. Compass included
The inside cabin can comfortably sleep two The inside cabin part2
The inside cabin part3
There is a bracket on the stern which can be lowered for a reserve engine.
When I look back at my listing and compare with others I feel I have maybe a bit negative.
Its been a very nice few years with this boat, we had some great times. It is very fast (faster than most)and ideal for water-skiing and I added some videos to show you how it looks in the water:
