Hisuper rare Dingo.A deep V that runs right to the back of the boat, that will eat up chop better than any boat of its size on the water.Unsinkable, having a full enclosed deck, and the cockpit area is self draining, means if a wave would happen to come over the boat it will drain out within seconds. That is why they were used in the surf I guess :)Trailer is in good nick. Tows great just done a Melbourne trip in the last 2 months no issues. Bearings where done just before that trip so its all ready to tow home. just add a light board.very heavy duty, prob abit overkill for the boat. doesn't have rego and one tyre goes down over afew days. bit of surface rust etc but not a worry just could do with a tidy.I have been after one of these for about 15 yrs. we had one as a rescue boat at my first weekend job. My intention was to use it for a tender to the yacht. However unfortunately its to heavy to lift on deck (boat is about 200kg) so add an outboard fuel etc (not to mention hand lifting winch) hence the reason its for sale.They normally have a 'jetski style' centre console but that has been removed prior to me getting the boat. but it gives you much more room and the sides are comfy to sit on as the gunwale is flat. It also allows for a tiller steer outboard to be used.I have not included the outboard in this sale as different people want different things.
I have had a few questions on size. so my thoughts / experiences are(normal short shaft 20' leg)
5hp - no rego or license req :) but good jogging pace only
9.9hp - will plan as a light ship on smooth water
30hp - Nice size good amount of power (I planned to use this and a 5hp for short runs)
- I do have a 30hp if interested, could be sold as an extra ask for price and details
70hp - what we had on the rescue one. I was 16yrs old it never failed to put a big stupid grin on my face, but to be honest, at any age if it did not leave a grin on your face maybe adrenaline is NOT for you :) but it was overkill and not really needed.Full self draining cockpit, Water ballast keel. heaps of floatation. any questions just ask
