Auction for the Boat, Trailer & the 90hp 4-stroke outboard plus a few bits n pieces outlined below. The start price is £4,000. The auction does not include the 6hp auxillary, the fishfinder/ chartplotter, waterskis, wakeboards, ringo, lifejackets, etc.Buy it Now price of £6,500 for everything - the complete package to get the family on the water for watersports, fishing and general adventures ! Includes boat, 90hp & 6hp outboards, trailer, fishfinder/ chartplotter, water toys (skis, boards & ringo), safety kit (lifejackets, bouyancy aids & helmet)I've had the boat since 2008 and had a great time on it with my family. The children are now grown up, it's no longer getting used so time to sell and let someone else enjoy. During my ownership I've bought various bits n pieces so it's the whole package. Safety is covered by the lifejackets, auxillary, chartplotter and a braked trailer. Fun in abundance with the ringo, waterskis, wakeboard and fishing gear. Convenience with the fully functioning trailer equipped with winch for ease of recovery and the drawbar extension ( to avoid getting your tow vehicle in the water).Sea trial (Fleetwood) available for £50 deposit which will be deducted from your winning bid. It'll cost me more than this in fuel and launch fees.Contact Richard on 07446445157 for further details or to arrange viewing/ trial.Boat2002 Zodiac OpenPro 550 RIB with genuine Zodiac all over cover. The boat has a bow rail and fishing rod holders. Four individual seats plus plenty more space on the tubes. Good condition - no patches on the tubes which hold their air perfectly. Fitted waterski pole and bracket for auxillary outboard. Loads of storage space under the console. Navigation lights. Two anchors; the main with 17 metres of chain & 10 metres of rope and a little fold up one with a few metres of rope. Built in 100 litre fuel tank. Comes with a marine VHF radio and a 12V auxillary socket for powering things like a portable fridge. I'll include some flush muffs which are used to flush salt water out of the engine. Original purchase receipt plus service receipts during my ownership (since 2008).Main EngineMercury 90hp 4 stroke 2002 F90 ELPT. Good condition and good starter. Will drive the boat to a top speed of about 34 knots in optimum conditions (i.e. flat calm and only 1 or 2 passengers). I've rarely run it at top speed but when we did it was like the opening sequence of Miami Vice (that reference may be lost on you if you're not of a certain age :-) TrailerSBS trailer with a brand new axle and brakes has not been in the water and only towed for 50 miles. Includes winch and a DIY extension drawbar which means the tow vehicle doesn't need to go into the water if you're on a shallow slipway, this drawbar fits onto the trailer for transportation. Includes trailer lightboard so you'll just need your own number plate. Also included is a fresh water pump which runs off a 12V aux socket and which I used to flush the wheels after immersion in salt water. Also included are two high security locks for the trailer; a hitch lock and a wheel lock. If you're looking at other boats please pay attention to the trailer as often the brakes are not servicable which is a real safety issue - unfortunately I know of a tragic accident where faulty trailer brakes were to blame. The following items are included in the Buy it Now price but excluded from the Auction1. Auxillary outboard Mercury 6hp 4-stroke short shaft with fuel tank. Good condition and good starter. I don't know the age but I've had it 8 years.2. Navman Trackfish 6600 fishfinder, chart plotter with transom mounted transducer. Also including an "Atlantic European Coasts" C MAP NT MAX card (£189 new), C MAP 2MB user card, the C MAP PC Planner application and the card reader. This is fully functioning and currently fitted to the boat. If the package is not sold as a whole I will remove this for separate sale.3. Watertoys. Two wakeboards, bindings and bag. Two pairs of ski's; an adult pair and some childs training ski's. A one person ringo. Waterski rope and rope for ringo. 4. Safety kit four manual gas lifejackets (toggle pull) plus two bouyancy aids (one large and one medium). Watersports helmet.5. Accessories two fuel tanks (I think one's 25litres and the other 20litres). Stirrup pump for the tubes. Four boat fishing rods (they're a bit knacked but adequate) and a couple of reels. Boarding ladder.Notes1. You are bidding to buy not to come and haggle. Please come and have a look before you bid so that you know exactly what you're bidding on. 2. This is advertised elsewhere so I reserve the right to cancel the auction if sold.3. Payment to be via direct bank transfer only.
On 14-Apr-17 at 19:29:10 BST, seller added the following information:Just noticed there a few Zodiac Medline RIBS also for sale and remembered why I chose the OpenPro rather than the Medline: I thin I'm right in saying the OpenPro hull has a slightly deeper V than the Medline which means that it handles choppy waters better. I certainly noticed a huge improvement in performance in the chop compared to my previous boat (Zodiac Cherokee 440) which had a hull more like the Medline.
