I bought these winches from the Australian Winch Company Ac/Hutton who are now the only people who have all the tooling and spares for Barlow winches. They were totally refurbished including the chrome and nerling on the drums all bearings replaces and any worn parts they told me at the time they would last a life time the only reason I am now replacing them is my crew bought me self tailing replacements. I have had them for two years during which time they have been serviced every 6 months
