Description

NB. There is a reserve on the steering console, plus associated steering cables and outboard motor control lever. If bidding for this complete lot reaches £75 they are included. If the winning bid is less than £75 I'm keeping the console (plus control lever and cables) to sell separately, so any bid below £75 is just to win the trailer and the boat.Bid for a small boat trailer in sound usable order, with a RIB 'project' included - sold as they stand. These pictures were taken the day I took this Force 3 RIB and trailer out of the garage to make way for a camper tent. Then one of the side seams split open (glue failure?) and the left hand tube went flat. I was going to try and re-glue it, but never got around to it.Since these pics were taken (Sept 24th 2016), the boat has been outside, so it's got a bit grubbier. It has a new hardwood transom that needs bolting in, and the plywood seats (planks!) could do with renewing too. I have no idea what, if anything, else is wrong with it, but it looked usable when I took it out of the shed until the seam came unstuck. The trailer pictures were taken on the same date, and has been outside for six months too. It's good solid condition, although the bunks will need sorting out for whatever boat you want to put on it and there is some surface corrosion you'll probably want to wire brush and paint over. I don't know if the RIB is worth anything in this condition, but might be fun for somebody to do up. If the winning bid is over £75 it comes with a centre console with steering and engine controls (steering wheel needs replacing at least, and there's corrosion on the steering box and plastic sleeves on the cables are worn.) Side-mounted engine control looks good. The trailer is probably worth £120 which is what I paid for it (separately to the boat) a couple of years back. Apart from the last six months it has been dry stored, hence is in sound condition. I'm selling it together with the RIB and won't split the lot (the wife wants it gone from the garden!), which means I'm selling with no reserve. If you want to tow it away you'll need a ratchet strap and/or some rope to keep the boat on the trailer - and you'll have to bring a light board. Otherwise both should fit inside a Transit van/VW Transporter, etc.Trailer and boat are viewable in Arundel Sussex until auction ends. Cash on collection only please.Happy bidding!
