Up for sale is a rare 1961 Beisemeyer Caribbean featuring the Nicson through transom headers and rear stabilizers.  This is a V-Drive boat with foot pedal for instant power transfer and rapid acceleration with a hybrid hull starting a light v tapering back to flat bottom.  This type of boat can be used for circle races, skiing, and drag racing.  It is extremely fast and nimble being powered by a 390 ford prostock engine.  Previous owner had the engine completely rebuilt and installed investing over $6K in just the power house.  It is mounted on a 1966 Vance trailer.  Interior is good but shows some age and sun cracks.  Gelcoating is good as well but does show use marks and some sun cracking.  It polishes up beautifully and looks remarkable on the water for a boat of her age.  Warning, ITS FAST.  Punching it straight out of the gate it is immediately on plane and going like crazy.  Strongly suggest wearing eyeprotection.  Going through a fresh hatch of caddis on the lake doing 95+ miles an hour sucks.  Its impossible to stop smiling when driving it so chances of getting bugs in your teeth is a real possibility.  It is also extremely loud.  You can hear it coming and going miles away.  If your looking for some classic fun with classic speed and looks, this is the boat for you.
