The Morgan Giles 30 has a great reputation as a good sea-going yacht and will look after you in a blow. We have sailed her on the West Coast of Scotland in heavy weather lots of times! She has a long keel, an Aries wind vane (Mark 2), a teak deck, a new spray hood, stack pack reefing with new fixed sail covers and 3 line reefing back to the cock pit. The interior has been recently painted. The cushions are new with hard-wearing, waterproof covers with a lovely homely feel. There is lots of storage space and a two ring cooker with oven. The engine is a 12hp Beta Marine. The instruments included are a VHF radio, a Garmin 550 GPS plotter which is  cock pit mounted, a Tactik wind speed and direction indicator..Eberspacher diesel heater with air ducts to saloon and forward cabin. We have a survey from May 2011.Please note that some of the 'photos show the old spray hood and not the new one.Lying Arisaig Marina, Highlands, Scotland. The EngineThe engine is a Beta Marine 12hp and is clean and in very good condition. It has been serviced annually and the anodes are changed too. It starts first time, every time.AccommodationForward cabin - there are two berths in the forward cabin which can also be a double. There are cupboards above the bed. There is a single berth in the saloon which forms the main sofa / seating area. It sits 4 very comfortably. There is a single quarter berth below the cockpit seating. The saloon has a nav desk and seat, a sitting area, a fold away table, a cooker, sink, cabinets and cool box.The cushions in the saloon and the forward cabin are all new (2015). The foam is the best quality and the covers are a washable "pub grade" fabric. They are velvet like in texture and look and feel lovely. There is an Eberspacher diesel heater with air ducts to the saloon and the forward cabin. The Heads have cupboards and there is a small worktop opposite with storage cupboards over and under. Anchoring and Mooring EquipmentMain anchorChainWarpKedge anchorMooring warps6 fendersBoathookDinghy (new) and Yamaha 2 stroke outboardGeneral EquipmentAries windvaneClock and BarometerOutboard bracketSpray Hood (new)Mainsail cover (new)Lazy jacksElectrics12v system2 x batteries charged by engine alternatorShore power cableRiggingMasthead sloop rigAlloy sparsStainless steel slab reefingHeadsail furlingLazy jacks2 x Gibbs genoa sheet winches1 x Halyard winchSails and SparsMain storm gib, Genoa and spinnakerNavigation EquipmentVHF radioGarmin 550 plotter (mounted in the cockpit)Furuno GPS inside the cabinFixed compassTactik wind direction and speed indicatorDepth sounderAutohelmAries Windvane Mark 2Safety EquipmentNavigation lightsMasthead lightLife buoy and throw lineGuardwireIf you have any questions or require further photos, please email me ajmarsh2017@outlook.com
