Looking for a restoration job? Consider this all original 1965 Thompson outboard wooden boat. It's a complete original package of an all wooden boat, canvas cover, trailer, original gas cans and unique Mercury outboard motor. Features a unique left side captains seat and "dock buster" engine. The engine is the first 70 hp engine Mercury built which, at the time, did not have a transmission to handle that high hp. So no transmission. Engine has forward and reverse, hence the nickname "dock buster". I purchased it with dreams of restoring it but then bought land and built a house. Been so busy with the house that I just don't have time for the boat and hate to see it sit. Looking for someone with the same dream of restoring it to its original beauty.
