Please call before placing bid. (573) 201-1059 I have clear Missouri titles to boat and trailer. I am selling because my wife and I don't have time to use her since our son was born. I have added lots of equipment to make her a perfect trailerable pocket cruiser. We even sailed her from FL. to the Bahamas and back 2 years ago. She is clean and ready to go again. Empathy is a 23D with factory edson wheel steering and tiller backup. She is sitting on a 2000 performance trailer custom made for her. She has had 8000 dollars in new equipment added in the last 24 months. All labor was done by me. Structurally she is all stock with only 1 exception. I have relocated the batteries from the starboard cockpit locker to the keel. I got Gerry Hutchin's approval before I made this modification. It was a lot of work, but makes the boat better in all respects. I removed 200 lbs of concrete from the keel, making a boxed area for 2 new 6 volt 300 amp/hr lifeline agm batteries. They weigh 100lbs apiece thus serving to replace the removed ballast. The aft section of cabin sole is now a removable hatch. The beauty of this modification is extremely high battery capacity with no weight penalty, better sailing ability due to moving weight forward down and to centerline, increased storage capacity in starboard cockpit locker, increased weight carrying capacity overall, and increased safety due to ability to run a 17amp 3700gph bilge pump in excess of 16 hours on full batteries even without a running engine. The Genoa is a 155 and is in good shape. It is clean and white, but there is one small area about 6" long that needs restitched. It is not torn just has a broken thread that has unraveled. The sun cover is in good shape but wrinkled from being furled near the top.Engine: Yanmar 1GM10
The engine starts and runs great. It doesn't smoke and is probably low hour. The second owner told me he used the engine very little, preferring to sail off and onto his mooring. The first owner used the boat in freshwater only. I went over the engine and replaced all anodes, impeller, gaskets, t-stat, fuel filters, oil and oil filter, air cleaner, etc... The transmission oil is clean and it works smoothly. I also realigned the engine and propshaft, and adjusted the stuffing box, erring on the loose side about 10 drops per minute. I replaced the prop shaft zinc. The engine gave us no trouble during our 6 week Bahamas cruise, and we ran it full time crossing the gulf stream both ways. It uses very very little diesel. Has 7 gal tank.Electronics: All new Raymarine Evo wheel autopilot, with control head mounted to port of companionway.
