Reluctantly selling my beloved narrowboat due to work commitments,It is a 45ft Teddesley built 1974 steel boat with a recovered grp top, no leaks, no repairs needed superbly fitted out narrowboat.Large pramcover creates another room to store items / or use as additional seating entertaining area, the cover has been well cared for with no tears, cracks or leaks. Then you enter down 3 manageable steps into the lounge area with a 2 seater comfy settee, pouffe, 2 seater dining table, store cupboard housing a victron battery charger and 800w inverter, windless mooring pins, stakes etc.You then reach the galley / kitchen, a full size bompani gas cooker, sink drainer, storage cupboards on both sides, draws etc, plus a full sized fridge freezer (240 volt) for use on shore power. A paloma mk 5 heater generates your hot water for the sink, and a substantial wood burner stove generates your room heat during colder weather. From there you enter into a mid boat full width shower room, a hand basin and toilet inside which can be closed off from the kitchen and bedroom for privacy. You then enter the bedroom with a custom made fixed double bed with overhead storage and a built in wardrobe leading to the forward cratch area via double beech doors. The cratch area has seating /storage either side and further storage under the bow.The whole boat was refitted around 2012 with a beech veneer to the sides and ceiling, Led lights were professionally installed at that time along with a full rewiring throughout, there are at least 6 double plug sockets throughout the boat, 2 or 3 in the lounge either side, 2 in the kitchen either side and 1 in the bedroom. All of the electrics work perfectly, there is a fire angel smoke detector in the kitchen and a co2 detector in the bedroom. When the boat was refitted in 2012 the boat was surveyed to make sure that it was worthy of all of the improvements and before undergoing refitting of real quality work. At that time the hull had some wear strips put onto the hull chines edges, and a small plate put either side of the bow at the water line, both of these repairs should guarantee many more years of enjoyment to whoever buys the boat.4 new batteries were installed last July and are in A1 condition. There are 2 rigid plastic water tanks under the bow seating each holding 100 litres so you don't need to fill up too frequently, these are balanced with twin 60 litre diesel tanks under the new stern flooring. The engine is the ever reliable air cooled Lister SR2 which had it oil changed last September after our annual boat holiday, it starts first time and runs without fault. The boat was blacked 3 times by my hand throughout March this year when my local boating club have their annual boat lift, at the same time the cabin painting was touched up and redone.I have many more pictures of the boat should you require them, including a large inventory of the boats history, alas i do not have the survey details from 2012, the previous vendors was via a local marina who could only give word of mouth knowledge regarding the refit and welding carried out at that time.I would be pleased to show any interested persons the boat and take them on a short journey to help them decide on their purchase if asked. The boat is moored at my cruising club in Tamworth and is visible from the towpath side just below the locks at Glascote. You can ring me any evening after 6pm to ask any other questions you may have which i have not covered. Alternatively you can use eBay to ask a question.Thank you. Keith
