Talisker was my home for the last 2.5 years; now I'm about to move back to Germany and so I've got sell her. I love her (traditional) layout, which allows for a lot of storage space. With the water tank in the bow tip, there's a lot of room under the front deck. The gas locker (for two 13kg bottles) is on the back deck, easily accessible. The off-centre entrance from the stern allows for more room in the bedroom with a wide wardrobe. The bathroom has a very airy feel to it, the kitchen is also spacious with lots of cupboard space. Of course there's space under the bed, but part of that is taken by the pump-out toilet tank (which was new in early 2015 after the old steel tank was corroded and started leaking; at the same time the new AquaMagic V toilet has been fitted).A Webasto diesel heater has been fitted in 2014 with a 50l calorifier (two coils for engine and Webasto circuits, 240V immersion heater), a bathroom radiator and one radiator each in the bedroom, corridor and living room and is of course fully functioning. The Thornycroft marinised Mitsubishi engine has got 39bhp and is a very reliable and powerful engine. Two 165W solar panels are connected to two domestic batteries (1 year old) via a Victron MPPT regulator. A Sterling regulator manages the alternator output voltage for most efficient charging of the batteries. The boat is ready to be lived on and of course just for cruises, too. At the moment I still live on the boat but can move out within a few days.10mm baseplate, 6mm hull, 3mm cabin sides and roof. Last blacking in November 2014, when the anodes also have been replaced and additional ones fitted, there are now 8 in total. Front cratch cover and a three-piece wind protector for the stern. Wide side hatch. Solid steel front and rear doors. Water tank in bow tip, storage room under front deck. Two front deck lockers, one rear deck locker for two 13kg gas bottles.120x190cm main bed in the back and extendable sofa bed of the same size in living room (Futon).
