Hi, Up for sale is my beloved Arran 16. These boats are very similar to the Orkney Longliner though are much more sought after as they have a deeper cockpit making them safer as a fishing platform and also have deeper Keels offering better stability. The engine is a Yamaha 8HP High Thrust Long Shaft and the auxiliary is a Mariner 2.5 2 stroke on a stainless steel outboard bracket. The engine also charges an 85 amp battery which is used to run the Garmin Fishfinder and also the automatic bilge pump. There is also a 12v cigarette socket fitted next to the fuse panel should you require power for anything else. The trailer is in reasonable condition with good tyres and has never caused me any problems. There is also a blue cockpit cover. She is pretty much as you see her in the pictures, a few marks here and there but on the whole a great little fishing boat that I will be sorry to see go but unfortunately a new house forces the sale.
