For sale is Hulabaloo our Sunspeed 602 four berth circa 1980 19ft hard top, fishing and cabin sports cruiser fitted with a 50hp Honda outboard and moored in one of the prettiest marinas in Kent. We have owned her for the past 14 years and she has very much become part of the family. A great boat at home just cruising the river, or fishing trips further afield and above all great fun to be out on. Sleeping 4 people, two in the Cabin and two in the Cockpit Hulabaloo is fully loaded with extras; INSIDE: 240v shore power and lead with 7 x 240v sockets and dual battery charging Zig unit, small gas stove, twin batteries, dual battery main switch and red key 12v isolator switch, Clipper dual battery monitor, Garmin GPS152H GPS, Bury system 8 phone hands free kit, 12v Socket, CD stereo with Kenwood speakers, high and low level LED lighting in both the cockpit and cabin plus LED running lights along with 2 bedside halogen spotlights, 12v Whale tap and water pump with a 25ltr water carrier, comfortable 6” upholstery seating throughout, high backed helm seat with adjustable pedestal and footrest, stowed table, enclosed toilet compartment with a Thetford Porta Potti and a keyed alarm. OUTSIDE: 2 x fishing rod holders, Jabsco 12v searchlight controlled remotely from the helm with 320° horizontal and 75° vertical sweep with a range of 260m, twin aerials, ropes, fenders and an anchor. She has a full pram canopy and an extra fitted fly sheet to keep the canopy clean from our flying friend’s droppings! She also has a fully bespoke fitted winter cover and extra seat covers to keep the rear upholstery clean. Relatively recent we had made new a full set of seating upholstery in 6” foam and a full set of cockpit windows, that replaced the rubber mounted windows that always leak on boats, making ours leak and maintenance free. Hulabaloo is powered by a reliable and economic Honda BF50hp outboard engine along with a 25ltr fuel tank, that were bought new from Portguide Marine in Kent a Honda main dealer which has been serviced every year by them since, also being antifouled at the same time. She has a Boat Safety Certificate valid until the 3rd March 2019 and a Medway River licence valid until 31st March 2018 Hulabaloo’s mooring is in a small marina in Yalding, Kent and is transferable to new owners, she has the benefit of her own electric point and access to a fresh water tap. It’s located in the heart of Kent and is one of the most secure, friendly and prettiest marinas around. It has an onsite club house, toilet and shower block and a laundry room. With access to 19 miles of non-tidal waters from Tonbridge to Allington Lock, the River Medway is great for fishing and wildlife. Hulabaloo has spent the last 14 years with us on the Medway and we have just renewed the river licence for a further 12 months, so her new owners can enjoy the same without the cost this year. Hulabaloo is a painted fibreglass construction, with a deep V semi planing hull and a fairly deep keel giving her great stability in all kinds of waters making for a stable ride, good for all types of boaters, new or experienced. All in all she is a good comfortable boat, which I’m sure the new owners will enjoy using as much as we have over the last 14 years.
