1932 Chris Craft 21' Runabout Antique Wooden Boat
Estimated price for orientation: 14 000 $
Category: Other Boats
Class:
Description Condition: Used Make: Chris Craft
Up for bid is a beautiful 1932 Chris Craft 21' Standard Runabout that is waiting to be completed and returned to the water. This boat has all new mahogany with a West System bottom. The original engine and transmission and gauges have been professionally rebuilt and have zero hours on them. I purchased the boat in 1986 as a restoration project from a person who owned it since the early 70's. The boat was last in the water in 1976. I started the restoration but did not finish. In 1998 the boat went to a friend who had most of the work done. Sadly, he passed away and the boat has been back in my possession and in my garage since. I have been slowly reassembling the boat and locating some of the missing parts. I estimate that it has 90% of its original hardware at this point. The boat needs to be finished but is a worth while project for the antique wooden boat enthusiast. Chris Craft only made 16 of this model. These boats finished have sold for over 40k! Included in the auction is the boat's trailer in nearly new condition. It is ready to carry to boat to your destination. Unfortunately, the title to both the boat and trailer were lost when my friend passed away. Please note that the boat is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the listing. Please call me with any questions about the boat or trailer. I can be reached at 732-872-6373 between the hours of 5&9 pm EST. I encourage you to come see the boat in person before bidding. Payment by Cashiers or Personal check must clear my bank before the boat can be picked up.
